Dear Gabrielle,

The 'Divine Ring of Seraphims' was in full session this week.

It spanned across the London boardrooms of Kensington to the City to Brent Cross. We were on top form too. Trust me when I say, you do not want to be around. You would have been eaten alive!

"Jesus! Lethal!!

But Elle what the hell are you talking about?"

Oops  I'm sorry. I am ahead of myself on this one.

The Divine Ring of Seraphim (or Seraphims as we shall have it jargonned) is a well kept women's secret that has existed for centuries. It functions like a Multi National Corporation. It is truly a global phenomeneon. Like my favourite Visa card, wherever in the world you go, you are bound to be accepted by its participating members  

Menfolk, they are totally unaware of it's existence. Simply because they are one of the many reasons that Seraphims exist and survive in the first place. But hey, I didn't tell you that...

'Gosh, sounds hardcore Elle. Is it a cult?'

you gasped.

Gawd nooooo...  

And before you say it, shuddup, it's not a man bashing group either.. honestly Gabe... *tsk*

You know how men always had a grandoise notion that women are so competitive with each other..  Guess what?

Nope. Seraphims shatter that delusions, schweetie

As its name suggests, us Seraphims, are there to protect and support each other. Round the clock. Unlike some Technical Support Centres I know. *More tsks* 

We bitch, we laugh, we are a library of advice and we are always OPEN for business. We lift each other up. Yet we also able to bring each other down to Earth, if need be. If there is such a thing as an unconditional love - the Seraphims set a damn fine example. Some men could learn a thing or two *A million tsks*

And you know what? You can never be too scandalous or dramatic. The number one rule is this => *Thou shalt not be judged*

Don't get it? Ok, an example. Let's say, one fine day I call upon the Seraphims and oh-ever-so-dramatically announced...

"Girls, I do not have the will to live anymore!"

The response, I guarantee, would be ever so efficient and varied.

"Elle, it must be the PMS talking. Have some chocolate darling,"- Shania.

"Oh Elle, I am worried about you, let's meet up and I will show you exactly why life is worth living," - Enya.

"Wow Elle, I felt just like that last week!! Don't you think how amazing all these pessimism brings about a spate of creativity?" - Tyra

All good advice. See how they are able to turn such negative thoughts to positive suggestions? They are the ultimate optimists  

A girl’s personal cheerleader even Although I might still feel down, I feel slightly better.

You see, Gabe, Seraphim is a mix of all the best thing that a girl needs:

She's a sister, the best friend and the mother

As such, secrets are almost non existent. Yes Gabe, that time that you found Shania sniggering behind your back, that’s only because she knows your bedroom habits as well as I do. Us, gossipers? Nahh. More sharers of information

So yes, what would a guy do then to be in the good books of Seraphims? The best advice I can give a guy confronted with Seraphims is to simply be NICE.   

You see a Seraphim's advice or remark, carry the weight of gold. So yeah, we may not follow the advice blindly. But over the years we have come to realize that Seraphims with their wealth of experience and objective advice have assisted us in getting through the worst and then some.

There are no problems that Seraphims cannot help you with. Someone, is bound to already have gone through it already. So you learn from them. And hopefully make less mistakes than they do.

Questions:

• Who has seen me at my lowest, most pathetic state?  
• Who could carry my extra weight through all my misfortunes and heartbreaks   and not complain... much.
• Who is always on the sidelines, applauding my every single glory, no matter how little it may be compared to theirs?
• Who knows me more than my parents, my boyfriends or anyone in the world for that matter?

Yup, it could only be the Divine Seraphim.

*Sigh* Like, where will a girl be without her Seraphims? In the gutters most likely

At the end of the day, Gabe, Seraphims are simply a ring of the world's most wonderful, witty and smart women. I, for one, am most honoured to be part of it. If ever there is anyone I would fight to death for, it is them.

Just because, some things, like hard rock friendships, are priceless..
