Dear Gabrielle,

You know what they say about expecting nothing and getting so much more. Well that's just what happened today.

Before I begin, I must apologise for being away this long. The new job, the move and organising the coming holiday have occupied me senseless the past March alone. Then there's the dread for the BIG '0' birthday.

So, I woke up early this morning, down in the dumps and expecting nothing.. Like hello? Who wants to celebrate being older right?! Heck, I spent the whole month alone cringing at the thought like no other.. I did say I'm ageing disgracefully..

Instead I got a wonderful surprise. Text after texts came pouring in at 7 am. People are awake at that time and remembering little old me!

I got to work and balloons, pressies and cards were in abundance at my desk. To top it all off, a bouquet of the pinkest flowers arrived. It was from The Divine Seraphims- thank you Shania & Tyra.

And all these for little OLD me??? It must be all the big fuss I make for being old.. people can be so sympathetic sometimes

Well Gabe, if this is how being thirty is gonna be.. I'd say bring it on.. I am loved and loving every minute of it. My ultimate goal this birthday is to be flirty oh-so-disgracefully.
